Soursop was one of my most favorite fruits when I was growing up. I remember saving the pennies my mother gave me in the morning to buy a Ti Carole Krèm Kowosòl (soursop ice cream tied in a small plastic bag). I remember the expectations of me licking every drop as soon as I poked a little hole with my teeth at one of tips of the plastic bag, the flavor brought me so much joy, the type of joy my heart still reminisces over.
I would like to bring your mom this favorite childhood treat this Mother's Day so that she can dive into the enjoyable flavors of soursop and let her inner child indulge in this delicious treat.
