Friday, March 14th Haitian Empanada Class
Please note this is a 4-hour class.
We are launching our Haitian Culinary Experiences this year with two Haitian Empanada classes on Fridays, March 14th and 28th. The Empanada Classes always sell out fast and are the most popular. The end goal of teaching Haitian Cooking classes is to make Haiti popular through its delicious cuisine.
Who can attend?
Anyone can attend from 12 years old and up. While we love your beautiful babies and toddlers, they are more of a distraction, and we encourage you not to bring them to our culinary event.
Where will the culinary event be held?
The Haitian Empanada Culinary Event will be held at Che PDX located at 920 NE Glisan St.
Here is what you can expect from our time together:

(3) Play with food
(4) Munch on bites and eat together
(5) Laugh at our mistakes
(6) Have fun, fun, and fun!
Curriculum:
We'll make the following:
(1) A basic Haitian marinade
(2) Pikliz
(3) Deep-fried empanadas
(4) Stuffed puff-pastry
(5) Onion quiche
We'll provide you with recyclable plates to take leftovers home.
