My name is Elsy and I have been teaching Haitian Culinary Classes for eight years in Portland. I have been teaching Oregonians to use simple and fresh ingredients in their cooking in order to amplify flavors. Simpler Tastes Better is my motto. You and I will do exactly that in this class, and we'll have a lot of fun.
What will we be making in this class?
I appreciate your interest in the Haitian Sweets and Treats Cooking Class! In this class, you will be introduced to the following treats:
1. A Haitian Sweet Potato Cake.
2. A Haitian cake.
2. Haitian Kremas, which is a Haitian coconut based rum drink,
3. Haitian Likè, which is a Haitian-boozy drink.
What do you need to bring with you?
1. A good Attitude.
2. A smile.
3. A container and a small jar to take some leftover treats and drinks home.
Who can attend this class?
Anyone 21 years old and older.
