What will we make during our time together?

1. Bouillon cubes from scratch with fresh organic herbs and extra virgin olive oil (vegan)

2. Bouillon cubes from scratch with fresh organic herbs, roasted organic chicken thighs, and extra virgin olive oil (non-vegan)

3. Organic herb-infused vinegar to use in soups, stews, and other cold-weather dishes

4. Organic Haitian-inspired super tonic with Haitian rum or/and apple cider vinegar

5. Haitian castor oil infused with herbs, inspired by traditional Haitian home remedies

Ingredient Sourcing
We are partnering with two out of state companies that import Haitian Castor Oil directly from Haiti:
1. Papa Rozier located in New York and
2. Kreyòl Essence located in Florida
These two companies are involved in changing Haitian children's lives by opening schools in Haiti, feeding children, and employing women so that they don't give their kids out for adoption fearing they can't care for them.
3. New Seasons Market
4. Farmers' Markets

Class Format
This will be a very hands-on class! We’ll prep ingredients together, mix and blend our creations, and jar our own infused vinegar, tonic, and Haitian castor oil to take home. The items we'll make are perfect essential treats to have on hand as we head into the cold fall and winter months.

What do you need to bring with you?

  1. A smile

  2. A great attitude

  3. An open mind

  4. A couple of small glass jars to take leftovers home with you, just in case we have some.

Come ready to chop, mix, learn, and leave with a few island-inspired essentials to carry you through the colder months.

See you in class!
